Today I’m excited to announce the release of our first mobile app for the iPhone. This initial iOS release for the iPhone is available for athletes, and will be used to plan, track, and analyze their fitness activities. It is the first step towards our goal of extending the desktop experience to mobile by creating a comprehensive health and fitness app for coaches and athletes.
Our design and development teams provided maximum effort in delivering an easy to use app with an intuitive user interface.
Throughout the development process the central question “Can the user enter results quickly and efficiently?” The Addaero UX team asked this question as each mobile and workflow scenario was painstakingly dissected and discussed.
The design is centered on providing the user quick access to view daily workouts and record results. Regardless of the Solo users’ location – on a trail, in a pool, on the side of a mountain, or in a gym the workout details can be viewed in one click and results recorded within two clicks.
We have just started! Staying true to our core belief, we develop and release in small chunks. User feedback is integral to the success of Addaero Solo. We want to know in real-time the good, the bad, and the “What Else” our users want. Our next few chunks of development will focus on developing an App for Android, push notifications, and integrating the Activity Feed.
